New colours inspired by Defender Octa
The update adds five new exterior colours previously seen on the Octa range.
These include Petra Copper, Faroe Green, and Sargasso Blue, alongside Narvik Black from the Octa Black specification and Patagonia White.
Every Classic Defender V8 spends around 300 hours in the paint shop.
That time covers preparation, precision colour matching, and final polishing.
All shades can be ordered in gloss or a specially developed satin finish, designed to visually match the Octa’s optional Matte Protective Film.
Interior trims now mirror the modern Defender
For the first time, Classic Defender customers can choose interior finishes that directly match Defender Octa specifications.
Options include lightweight Ultrafabrics PU in Khaki Green, Light Cloud, and Lunar, plus Burnt Sienna semi-aniline leather.
For Octa Black-inspired builds, Ebony leather is also available.
Buyers can specify hand-trimmed, heated Recaro sports seats and work closely with Land Rover Classic’s design team to replicate colour placement across the cabin.
That includes the steering wheel, dashboard, transmission levers, headlining, and door trims.
Exclusive exterior details for the V8
Alongside colours and interiors, new bespoke components have been developed specifically for the Classic Defender V8.
These include a gloss black radiator grille, styled after the Defender Octa and engineered to maximise airflow for cooling.
Another option is Chopped Carbon Fibre bonnet script, adding a subtle modern contrast to the traditional Defender shape.
A modern twist on a classic Defender
This update reinforces the Classic Defender V8’s position as a bridge between heritage and modern design.
It keeps the character of the original Defender intact, while letting owners bring in the look and feel of Land Rover’s most extreme current model.
